A fancier version of the Common Goldfish; is characterized by the longer dorsal, pectoral, pelvic, anal and caudal finnage. The caudal fin is shaped like a pair of open scissors. It’s body is long and slender when viewed from the top and sides. It’s coloration is similar to the Common Goldfish.This is a relatively popular breed in the Western world. In the Far East, it is known as the Swallow Tail. However, this breed has become a bit of a rarity due to it’s relatively ordinary appearance.
